The optical 3D inspection system kolibri Flex 400 is designed for fully automatic 3D digitization of objects.The system uses digital fringe projection in combination with a special MultiView technique that employs 3 cameras and a pivoted motorised rotation stage. This enables the measurement process to be self-calibrating, and additionally the process works without target markers or matching of individual scans.
The patented measurement principles ensure high levels of reproducability, making the system ideal for precise 3D inspection in the casting and forging industries.

The system has been designed for portability, and is modular to allow for the extension of measurement volumes. It can be changed to, or supplied as, a kolibri Flex move system. The adaption uses a tower stand to mount the sensor head at a maximum height of 2.5m. This allows maximum flexibility for object sizes, measurement procedures and portability.
