The Actiris 350 offers a brand new vision in coordinate measurement. The system consists of a cordless, compact hand-held probe, a set of sensor "eyes", and inspection software that runs on a laptop or standard PC. Not only does this technology remove the need for restrictive and expensive arms, it works in a dynamic reference frame . This means the part and sensor can move with respect to one another during the measurement process without affecting the results. Interested?   Advent CR ... non-contact and ultra fast vision based CMM.
   
  The Advent is a 3D non contact automated measuring machine that it dedicated to dramatically speeding up control and inspection on the production line. It relies on a powerful combination of advanced photogrammetry and digital image processing to measure an entire car body, with 2000 elements for example, in just 30 minutes. This is significantly faster than the capabilites of mechanical systems. In addition, the accuracy of results is not dependent on the robot position accuracy. Elements such as circles, rectangles, slots, studs and nuts are automatically captured and logged. Up to 8 sensor units (IVDs) can be combined depending on the cycle times and measurement volume requirements.
